Don't Drop Me Bro ("the app") is built by Classy Methods, LLC. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Summary
The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything the app does happens entirely on your device.
What the app stores, and where
The app stores the following information locally on your device only:
Drop history — scores, impact severity, and timestamps from detected drops, used to power the in-app leaderboard ("Hall of Shame").
Drop location (optional map feature) — if you use the map feature, drop locations are recorded and stored locally to display on your personal map. This data is never transmitted off your device.
Custom voice recordings — if you choose to record a custom scream sound, that audio is stored locally on your device for playback within the app.
Purchase status — whether you've unlocked premium sound packs, verified directly through Apple's StoreKit. We do not see or store your payment information; that is handled entirely by Apple.
None of this information is sent to us, to any server we operate, or to any third party. There is no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or backend server in this app.
Permissions the app requests
Motion & Fitness — used to detect when your device is dropped (measuring sudden motion/impact). Processed entirely on-device.
Location (When In Use) — used only if you choose to use the map feature, to tag where a drop occurred. Stored locally; never transmitted.
Microphone — used only if you choose to record a custom scream sound for your voice pack. Stored locally; never transmitted.
You can decline any of these permissions; the relevant feature will simply be unavailable, but the rest of the app will continue to work.
In-App Purchases
The app offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock additional sound packs. All payment processing is handled by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in the future, an updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
